Texas Senator Questions the New Health Rules

Texas state senator Kirk Watson however believes that the new state rules go too far. He told this to Julia Rathgeber who is the insurance commissioner from Texas. He particularly quoted the requirements that navigators should have 40 hours of training, in addition to the required 20-30 hours. Other than this they are now supposed to get liability insurance and pay fees for fingerprints, tests and classes. “That kind of training requires real time and costs real money. Where did the additional 40 hour requirement come from exactly? Who is it truly meant to help?” Watson said while commenting on the proposed rules.
